Providing Everything You Need

Real and Radical Allyship: How Clinicians Can Address the
Mental Health Needs of Black Trans Women and Save Lives

This 3-hour continuing education program explores the intersection of race, gender
identity, and mental health, centering the experiences of Black Trans women. Participants
will deepen their understanding of systemic oppression, minority stress, and the ethical and
clinical implications of working with gender-diverse populations. Through critical
discussion, reflection, and case application, clinicians will gain practical skills to foster
culturally responsive, affirming, and trauma-informed therapeutic relationships.
